Momentum Collection at Thyme Out Dingle

My Momentum Collection was recently on display at Thyme Out Dingle as part of the arts and music festival Féile na Bealtaine.

I couldn't have wished for a more suited place for this collection to see the light of day for the first time.

A gorgeous house that’s been here a long time and has seen so much. With mint brick walls that just perfectly match my color palette. And a magical secret garden space out back. Close to the waves of the ocean. A place where a grounded woman nourishes the soul of so many.

When I started creating the Momentum Collection in my Berlin studio about two years ago it was born from the desire to return to the person I was before I was told who to be. 

I continued my journey of reconnecting with my intuition my inner voice, the natural world around me. 

I started learning how to make my own paints from natural pigments.

Little did I know back then, that I would be moving to Ireland, a place that’s so much more in tune with nature‘s flow. 

The light energies, the wildness of nature, the dream of living by the ocean, all the visions and connections I had drawn on when painting the collection in my very urban studio in Berlin, started to manifest around me once I arrived in Ireland. It felt like the paintings had been called home. Home to be presented to other eyes than mine in surroundings that mirrored their spirit.

Thyme Out is all that and more.

Elouise Flannery, for being an inspiration, my friend and making all of this possible in the first place. The team of Féile na Bealtaine for putting together such a great festival.
